The Group

History of the Group

The Group's history is rooted in the creation, over 30 years ago, of Voyages Services Plus, better known under the brand name VSP, an incoming travel agency operating in France and Italy.

In 2004, drawing on its experience in organising tourist stays and its nationwide hotel network, VSP created a social reservation platform to meet the needs of the Samu Social de Paris, which was looking for overnight hotel accommodation dedicated to shelter.

From 2008 onwards, VSP created Résidis and then Logely, specialising in the operation and management of para-hotel residences dedicated to social accommodation to meet the need for shelter. The company's portfolio consists mainly of former tourist and business residences acquired from Appart City and others.
In recent years, this need has only increased, and overnight stays in hotels are one of the structural accommodation solutions for the most disadvantaged.

In 2021, the VSP Group will sell Résidis to Metrics Capitals and Weinberg Capital Partners, impact investment funds. This acquisition will enable Résidis to become the leader in social housing thanks to the impact business model deployed by the new shareholders.

Providing dignified accommodation to promote the integration and well-being of our residents is Résidis' raison d'être. A commitment and a project that requires the exclusive management of residences known as "appart'hôtels". A self-contained flat with a private kitchen and bathroom, communal areas, hotel services and social support are the essential conditions for guaranteeing a positive residential pathway.

In 2024, it was a natural step for Résidis to acquire the VSP Group, another major manager of social accommodation in aparthotels, in order to manage the largest stock of social para-hotel establishments.

The merger confirms Résidis' position as a leader in social housing and gives birth to the Résidis Group.

As a socially responsible player, the Résidis Group is pursuing its development by confirming its commitment to supporting people into housing and creating 3 brands:

Our values: The Group's founding pillars

We have strong values; Responsibility, Solidarity and Autonomy which are a daily commitment to our employees, the public we serve, our partners and our customers.

Our 3 founding values guide the corporate project of all our brands, for which we work every day.

Our Impact project, a socially responsible business model

Our IMPACT business model is the foundation of our corporate project, which is also guided by our founding values.

It ensures that we meet our social and societal commitments.

The project was implemented in January 2021. We have allocated dedicated resources to the implementation and measurement of our IMPACT project, based on KPIs and precise, ambitious targets. These targets are assessed each year by an external audit firm.

Transparency and concrete commitments have enabled us to build relationships of trust with our partners, residents and customers, and to perform responsibly.

The effective implementation of our Impact project is essentially based on the professionalisation of our activities and the structuring of our organisation, in particular with the unprecedented creation of a social and sustainable engineering department dedicated to the management and deployment of our social impact business model.
